Lake Bed and Breakfast, Ocracoke, NC, was built over a long period of time during the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s by Sam
Jones of Norfolk, Virginia.

Mr. Jones contributed greatly to the economy of
Ocracoke, North Carolina, during these times and considered by many to be
a local legend.
He is buried on Ocracoke Island with his favorite horse Ikey D at
Springer's Point. Most of the original furnishings have long
been auctioned off and are scattered all over Ocracoke Island
and
North Carolina.
