Moss
House Bed & Breakfast |
The Moss House features four
comfortable guest rooms with private baths, as well as an
elegant living room and dining room. Family heirlooms, antiques,
and original artwork lend the interior an atmosphere of ease and
grace; life around The Moss House is casual and contemporary,
but with a subtle Victorian touch.
Most of the rooms
have the original carved wooden mantles surrounding colorfully
tiled hearths, and the fireplaces, though no longer functional,
recall the dedication to craftsmanship that was common when the
house was built a century ago.
For guests who
want to stay in touch with the outside world, The Moss House
provides Direct TV service, telephone, copy and fax machine, and
modem-based Internet access. Computer and Net access for guests
traveling without their own laptops is available at the public
library just across the street.
