Meadows Inn
Bed & Breakfast |
|
 |
|
Original structure was
built in 1847 by John Alexander Meadows and enlarged to it’s
three story size in 1900. 212 Pollock Street has a rich history
of being a private residence, survived the Civil War and became
an Antique Shop in the 20th Century.
It began it's history as the premier Bed & Breakfast in New Bern
in 1980.
Initially weekend lodging for visitors in New Bern to see the
Tryon Palace in 1980, this Bed & Breakfast has grown thru the
years too offering year round lodging. Nestled peacefully in the
heart of the downtown historic district and walking distance to
the Tryon Palace and Garden, excellent restaurants, antique
shops, the birthplace of Pepsi, the riverfront convention center
and river walk are just a few of the many activities to
discover.
