The Carolina House is located two blocks from the beautiful
Pamilco River, 25
minutes from East Carolina University in Greenville, 1 hour from
Interstate 95 exit, Wilson (264E) or Rocky Mount (64#/13S/264E)
or 2 hours on 17S from Virginia Beach, VA.
To get away and
relax, Visit Us... Stroll the tree lined streets of this
historic town which offers a magnificent view of life long ago
or just sit on a bench by the river and watch the sail boats,
kayak or motor boats go by. Visit the North Carolina Estuarium
where the river meets the sea -- an interest to all ages. The
Estuarium exhibits science, nature, art and history.
A short drive can
take you to a golf course or a state park. Visit Bath, the
oldest town in North Carolina, or catch a short ferry ride over
to Aurora and visit the Fossil Museum.
